NAET

What is NAET?

NAET is an acronym for Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique. NAET, first developed in California, is based on principles from the fields of allopathic (western medical knowledge), chiropractic, acupuncture, kinesiology, and nutrition. NAET is a natural, non-invasive, and drug-free holistic treatment.

Who is Dr. Devi Nambudripad?

Dr. Devi, who holds degrees in several health fields, was born with a number of serious allergies and many health problems. She began studying the healing arts as part of her own life-long quest to help herself and other sick people. Today she is a chiropractor, acupuncturist, medical doctor, and nurse.

Her discovery of how to treat and eliminate allergies has not only brought her back to health, but it has also helped thousands upon thousands of patients who are now allergy-free. Her workshops and symposiums have trained over 8,000 medical professionals in NAET, and today there are practitioners in every stated and many foreign countries.

What kind of certification is needed to practice NAET?

Only doctors of Medicine, Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Dentistry, Naturopathy, and Registered Nurses sponsored by a doctor are eligible for training with Dr. Nambudripad.

Her website www.naet.com lists professionals who have completed the training courses and how continue to attend workshops and seminars to further their NAET education. Check for qualified practitioners in your area.

Why haven’t I heard more about NAET?

By medical standards, NAET is quite new and, therefore, like many alternative treatments, not yet well-known among traditional doctors. And while more than 8,000 practitioners practice NAET world-wide, that is still a relatively small number.
